“Two Wrongs” by Jamie Alimorad – A High-Voltage Rock Revelation

Two Wrongs
Two Wrongs

With “Two Wrongs,” Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jamie Alimorad channels his rock ‘n’ roll roots into a blistering anthem of betrayal, catharsis, and self-empowerment. Released on May 9, 2025, the track pulses with the kind of raw, electrified energy that’s become a signature of Alimorad’s evolution. Known for his dynamic range and instrumental versatility, Alimorad brings it all to the table-slinging guitars, laying down drums, and unleashing vocals that burn with conviction.

Originally conceived as a dark pop number for another artist, “Two Wrongs” took on a new life when Alimorad claimed it for himself. The transformation was seismic. Synths gave way to ripping guitar lines, and the polished pop shell was cracked open to reveal a beating hard rock heart. With Jordan Sherman at the production helm and Alimorad commanding most of the instrumentation, the track came together in an intense four-hour session, capturing the immediacy and grit of a live performance.

Musically, the influence of Rick Springfield’s later-era rock records is palpable, particularly Shock/Denial/Anger/Acceptance and Songs For The End of the World. The punchy guitar riffs, crisp drum work, and gritty vocal growl all pay homage to that arena-filling sound. Yet there’s also a nod to The Beatles in the song’s bridge, where Alimorad draws inspiration from the harmonic complexity of “Because,” layering vocals into an eerie, haunting pause before the final explosion.

Lyrically, “Two Wrongs” doesn’t hold back. Alimorad confronts the emotional wreckage of a broken trust, but instead of wallowing, he weaponises his hurt with defiance. It’s a battle cry set to a rock rhythm. The chorus soars with venom-laced clarity, while the verses grind with tension, propelled by tight instrumentation and a palpable sense of urgency.

Jamie Alimorad has always worn many hats as writer, performer, producer and “Two Wrongs” is a perfect showcase of that multidimensional artistry. It’s fierce, focused, and unfiltered, bursting with a confidence that only comes when an artist truly takes the reins. In an industry flooded with formula, Alimorad reminds us what happens when you throw away the template and let the amps and emotions blow wide open.
