Rappers have been popping up in the most unexpected places lately, and Paul Wall just hit the stage at a Gracie’s Corner live show. Earlier this year, Wall hopped on the H-town remix to “Wheels on the Bus” for Gracie’s Corner and hit the stage to perform it for the kiddies recently at their Houston stop.
“Soooo Does this mean I was the kids first ever rap concert?? 🥶🥶🥶 @graciescorner,” the 44-year-old rapper captioned his Instagram post.
“Thank you for having me!!! #TheGreatWall”
The titular character’s Instagram account commented under the collaborative post.
“We’re Friends forever!” they wrote.
“Thank you so much for jamming with us. This was a moment no one will ever forget!!!! 🙌”
Some of the lyrics by the veteran rapper on the song include, “Rolling down the street with Paul Wall and Gracie // H-town remix coming at you baby // Ice man Paul, Paul Wall, got diamonds on my wrist and I’m gliding on chrome.”
SeaWorld’s Summer Concert Series has also been going viral, with numerous rappers popping in and delivering fun sets at the theme park, including Trina, who recently appeared. She spoke to BET about being shocked when the booking came through, but was “ecstatic” nonetheless.
“I was ecstatic,” the Miami native says when she received the booking from SeaWorld. “I didn’t understand it at first… I was like, This is where the kids go to look at the animals. But then they sent me videos, and it looked amazing.”
